What’s This Blog?
Starting June 8, 2003, I traveled around the world for 13 months with my (brand new) wife Sherri. My (brand new) camera was glued to my hand most of the time (an early digital SLR, a Canon 10D), and the trip ended up launching my career as professional photographer. I shot on 6 continents and 22 countries.
This was before Facebook (did such a time ever exist?). It was before Flickr, Tumblr, Pinterest, and most blogs (etc.). As a result, most of those photos have never seen the light of day. This blog should help partially correct that error.
In celebrating the 10-year-anniversary of our trip, I am posting a picture — or 2 or 3 — of the day every day from 10 years prior (except for those days when I didn’t take any pictures).
Enjoy! I know I will.
p.s. I’ve hung onto the wife for these 10 years. The camera I ditched long ago.
