Harvard University’s Adolphus Busch Hall in Cambridge was a fantastic, picturesque venue to photograph this wedding. Rain clouds loomed outside while the bride and bridesmaids were getting dressed (and debating the finer points of the Marvel Universe), but at the last minute, Mother Nature intervened and the sun broke through, which made for stunning first look photos.

The wedding took place outdoors  on the terrace adjacent to a lovely walled garden nearby.  Dr. Marianna was resplendent in a satin wedding gown, and Attorney Ken was properly wowed.  The love between them was palpable;  everyone got a little teary-eyed during the vows. (more below…)

Afterward, we headed inside for the reception. Built in the spirit of a grand medieval hall, this art museum houses casts of medieval and Renaissance sculpture and stonework, all part of the Busch-Reisinger Museum’s founding collection.  Quite the memorable backdrop through the night of dining, toasts and dancing.

Have camera, will travel!  I’m available for weddings all over the world 🙂
