Brett Deutsch, Co-owner & Chief Photographer

No matter who or what I photograph — executives, actors, celebrities, families or events — I want the images to be truthful and powerful.  I’m a documentarian at heart, so I like to capture a sliver of story in every photograph.

I formally trained at Pomona College, the New York Institute of Photography and the School of Visual Arts, but experience has been my greatest educator:  I’ve shot hundreds of thousands of photos in Manhattan and around the world, tramping through 26 countries and 7 continents, including Antarctica. My photography has been featured in Backstage, The New York Times, Time Out London, and the Dallas Morning News, to name a few, plus countless websites, newsletters, annual reports and other publications.

I happily ditched my twenty-year career in advertising to go all-in with my husband on our photography business.  Years of working with clients like Coca-Cola, SiriusXM and Bank of America while running new business pitches for McCann, Rapp Collins Worldwide and Temerlin McClain gave me an arsenal of skills, and building and steering our own ship has been more exhilarating and rewarding than I ever would have dreamed.

I’m always drawn to the stories behind the images (ask me how I met Brett!), which is why I love the range of our clients. We’ve worked with people from all over the world, in a variety of occupations, from every walk of life. Speaking of which …
